There was  hair straightening, hand and foot massages , nail polishing, henna, make up, super and flax weaving. The ladies got to do what ever they wanted to do last night. Some people that have never done weaving before had 3 or 4 weavings done, it looked pro.
There were prizes at the end also gifts for the ladies.
The ladies had fun and had an awesome time last night.

I'd like to thank my wonderful Librarians, ICT mentors and
photographers who helped create the a report which will be uploaded
to Youtube as soon as we are able to finish editing it.

Visit from Te Hamua - Truely Inspirational!!!

Today the Year7/8 students were lucky enough to be blessed by the presence of such a passionate and inspiring guest speaker.
TE HAMUA NIKORA
His korero was not only entertaining, it was very informative.
Te Hamua spoke to us about how to overcome obstacles in our lives, how to fight negativity and most of all to believe in ourselves.
So now that we're armed with the most powerful gun loaded with our whakapapa, identity and all things positive we are ready to combat obstacles that we may face in our futures.
Thank you Te Hamua for your words of wisdom...
YOU ROCK!
